| Northern Weyr |
| The Hatching Sands
A great cavern where the queens lay their glorious clutches. It is here that the new generations of dragonriders are birthed. Great tiers are set up to allow the hatchings to be observed by holders, crafters and weyrbred alike. The dragons have hollowed out ledges over the centuries to allow them to also watch the hatching.

| The Bowl
This is where most of the events of the Weyr take place. The herdbeasts are kept here, and the lake is available to bath the dragons of the Weyr.

| The Skies Above
Here ares the open skies of Pern, where thread is fought and flights take place. Battles and Competitions and Duels are also held here, although they make also take place in the bowl.

| The Weyrs
This is where all of the full grown riders sleep. There is a stone couch for the dragon as well as a little sleeping cove for the rider. Some of the grander Weyrs, for higher ranking pairs, have heated plumbing where they can bathe and such. Each Weyr has a claw-marked stone ledge outside of it for the dragon to sun on and to take off from.

| Weyrleaders Weyrs
Here is where all of the official planning for the Weyr takes place. The personal Weyrs of the Weyrwoman and Weyrleader connect to one large conference room where the important meetings of the Weyr take place. Diplomats are also met here, and formally introduced to the high ranking people of the Weyr. These boards are private, and will only be open to the Weyrleaders, unless others are given permission.

| Weyrling Barracks
This is where the Weyrlings live until they reach 1 turn, in which they move to their own personal weyrs.

| Lower Caverns (3 sub-boards)
Here are the internal workings of the Weyr. The Lower Caverns, kitchens, Dining Hall, and Candidate Quarters are here.

| Wher Quarters
Built underneath the aboveground house, the Wher quarters come fully equipped for the nocturnal creatures. They are often put on watch over the dragon clutches, when they are not having their own.

| Cliffside Hold and Crafthall |
| The Great Hall and Courtyard
This is where the Holders hold their Gathers, inside and outside. A racetrack can be set up a few minutes outside the courtyard for the races and the courtyard itself can be set up with over fifty booths and a dance floor for the Gathers to be held. When it's not in use, it greets all guests to the Hold, and the courtyard has a hiden entrance for the Whers.

| The Crafthall
This is where ALL of the crafts can roleplay, as I am too lazy to make lots. Harpers, smiths, herders and healers all come together to learn their craft and teach others. Holder and Riders come to buy their goods, and often have interesting items to barter.

| Other Places |
| The River
This is one of the largest rivers on Pern that run along the base of the Northern Mountains, passing by the Weyr and all three Holds. Flits love to come here to clutch in the sandy banks.

| The Mountains
Known as the Danerous Area to locals, this is where the wild Dragons congregate and brave souls try to come and impress them.
